Our facilities have regular and controlled monitoring, keeping parks clean, sanitized and the animals well cared for.
We have a pasture n of about 2500 hectares between the Alentejo and Ribatejo. Feeding our animals exclusively with green pasture, straw and cereal-based feed.
We have a veterinarian available 24 hours a day and are regularly audited by the competent authorities (DGAV / IFAP).

A sheep that is not regularly shorn and maintains wool during the summer will overheat and lose the ability to regulate it’s body temperature, as well as causing discomfort to the animal.
Tosquia favors the increase of the weight of the sheep, in order to guarantee a better quality of meat.
Just as in hygiene, the natural soiling and vegetal matter accumulated in the fleece during a year of growth can cause diseases in the animal. And in Terra Brava we prioritize animal welfare.
